6th Vocab Entry.


  • Artist - a person who produces works in any of the arts that are primarily subject to aesthetic criteria
  • Studio - all the buildings and adjacent land required or used by a company engaged in the production of motion pictures.
  • Animation - the process or result of making animated movies or cartoon
  • Filming - the activity of making a movie or working as an actor in a movie
  • Intercut - if scenes in a movie are intercut,you see part of one scene first,the part of the other,then the next part of the first scene and so on,usually to show you that different events are happening at the same time
  • Produce - to organize the work and money involved in making a movie,play,television program,CD,etc
  • Prop - a piece of furniture or small object used in a play or movie
  • Storyboard - a series of pictures that the director of a movie uses to plan the action that will be filmed
  • Track - to move a movie camera along on a  track 
  • Scenario - a written description of what happens in a play or movie
